Brazil will play a friendly against Australia in Melbourne in June. The match will take place at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground on June, 13th, with a crowd of 100,000 expected Down Under.
Brazil had already announced an exhibition match with Argentina at the same stadium four days later. The contest with Australia will kickoff at 11.05am BST, 7.05am Brasilía. For Australia, the game will provide a warm up for the Confederations Cp in Russia, which they will be competing in.
Australia coach Ange Postecoglou is delighted to welcome the Seleção, saying, "To face Brazil in Melbourne will be a fantastic occasion for Australian football and a great opportunity for us to challenge one of the world’s best teams as we continue our growth as a football nation.
“It will be a tremendous test against quality opposition before we head off to the Confederations Cup in Russia but let’s also consider what a wonderful chance this is for our passionate fans to watch us take on the Brazilians on Australian soil.”
