Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIP had a distinctly Brazilian flavour on their scoresheet as they thrashed Australian side Western Sydney Wanderers in the Asian Champions League on Tuesday evening.
Brazilians Hulk, Oscar and Elkeson all got in on the act as the Chinese side swept aside their Australian counterparts in this Group F tie. Hulk opened the scoring after three minutes, heading home a rebound after his left footed shot had been saved.
The forward then turned provider for compatriot Oscar to sweep home a second well before half time. Sydney pulled one back, before Shanghai SIP restored their two goal cushion. Brazilian striker Elkeson then grabbed a 4th, before SIP added a final goal on 75 minutes.
Shanghai SIP are managed by Portuguese coach Andre Villas Boas and also include centre half Ricardo Carvalho in their ranks.
