Ex-Arsenal left-back Andre Santos Discusses Life After Retirement

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus thinks Dani Alves’ imminent move to Manchester City is one that will make sense for club and player. The 19 year old plays alongside Alves for the Brazilian national team.

Alves has negotiated a release from his Juventus contract a year early and a move to City is set to be sealed in days. It’s a move that will see the 34-year old ex Barca full-back reunited with Pep Guardiola.

“I spoke to him, but he didn’t specify what he’s going to do," Jesus told Esporte Interativo. "We’ll see if it comes to fruition and Dani comes to City.

“I don’t know if there’s an offer but I think Guardiola can make a difference. Nothing is certain, but I hope he comes to City and we can celebrate it.”

Alves won 14 trophies in 5 years under Guardiola’s stewardship at Barcelona and won Serie A with Juventus last season.
